The Argus Planetarium

To help insure that the Argus Planetarium will be operating long into the future, we have joined with the Ann Arbor Public Schools Outdoor Education Program to create an endowment.  The AAPS SEEE (Ann Arbor Public Schools Science and Environmental Education Endowment) is managed by the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, which has an outstanding reputation.  If you would like to learn about ways you can contribute to our endowment or if you would like to make an online gift, click on the first link below, then click on the Network for Good logo.  (By making your donation through this foundation, your gift qualifies for the Michigan Community Foundation Tax Credit as well as a charitable deduction on your federal income tax return.  While this additional credit is available for Michigan residents only, non-residents may still take advantage of the federal tax savings.)

The SEEE Fund is a Designated fund within the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation.  All gifts to this fund are invested and the returns distributed to the agency in accordance with the Community Foundation's spending policy.  The Community Foundation may redirect the endowment fund if the agency ceases to exist of if our Trustees discern that distribution becomes unnecessary, impossible, or inconsistent with the needs of the community.
