SEPTEMBER
     Tues/Wed/Thur 1-3 Teacher PD
     Tuesday 8  First day for students. Full day.

OCTOBER 
     Wednesday 7 Early release day for secondary students

NOVEMBER
     Tuesday 3 No School for students.
          Elementary PD in A.M., report writing in P.M.
          Middle School /High School PD all day.
     Wednesday 18 Final Exam - 1st Hour, then shortened classes (full day)
     Thursday 19 Final Exam - 2nd and 3rd Blocks ( Students dismissed at 11:30 am)

     Friday Nov 20 Final Exam - 4th and 5th Blocks ( Students dismissed at 11:30 am)

     Monday Nov 23  Begin Term 2
     Wed/Thu/Fri 25-27 No School for students or staff.  Thanksgiving break.

DECEMBER
     Friday 18  Winter vacation begins at the end of the day.

JANUARY
     Monday  4  School resumes.
     Monday  18  Martin Luther King Jr. Day. School is closed.
     Friday  22  Mid-point of Term 2

FEBRUARY
     Monday  1  No school for students at Secondary level. Teachers work day.*
     Monday  8  NAAPID(National African American Parent Involvement Day)

                       * All parents are invited to participate in the day's activities.

     Monday  15 No school for students. Staff Professional Development day.
     Friday  19  Mid Winter Break begins at end of the day

MARCH
     Monday 1 School resumes
     Wednesday  3  Final Exam - 1st Hour, then shortened classes (full day)

     Thursday 4  Final Exam - 2nd and 3rd Blocks (Students dimissed at 11:30 am)
     Friday 5  Final Exam - 4th and 5th Blocks (Students dimissed at 11:30 am).
     Monday  8  Begin Term 3

     Tuesday 9 Mandatory school for 10th and 11th graders for the MME

                      (Michigan Merit Exam) & Plan testing.

                         *No school for grades 8, 9 and 12.
     Wednesday 10 MME testing for 11th grade; regular school day for rest of students.

     Thursday 11 MME testing for 11th grade; regular school day for rest of students.

APRIL
     Thursday  1 Spring vacation begins at the end of the day.
     Monday  12  School resumes. 
     Friday  30 Mid-point of Term 3

MAY
     Monday  31  Memorial Day. School is closed.

JUNE
     Wednesday 2 Huron High School Graduation
     Thursday 3 Pioneer High School Graduation

     Thursday 10 Clemente Music Concert in the evening. (time to be determined)

     Tuesday  15  Final Exam - 1st Hour, then shortened classes (full day)
     Wednesday 16 Final Exam - 2nd and 3rd Blocks (Students dismissed at 11:30am)

     Thursday 17 Final Exam - 4th and 5th Blocks (Students dimissed at 11:30am)
