Along with aligning my Spanish curriculum with that of Ann Arbor Public Schools my students enjoy culture days. All of us bring in foods of Hispanic countries, listen to Hispanic music and eat. It has become my established tradition to celebrate ‘Cinco de Mayo’ each May. This is my students’ favorite cultural day because they are big fans of Mexican cuisine and love ‘fiestas’!
