High School Academics
Ann Arbor Public Schools' three comprehensive high schools and three alternative schools offer exceptional academic opportunities to our diverse student body. From GRAMMY winning school music programs, to nationally ranked academic teams, to dual enrollment opportunities for high school students to earn college credit, our high school programs strive for excellence. Over 80% of our high school graduates continue to college education. Annually, AAPS recognizes more than 400 National Honor Society students. Our Career and Technical Education program gives students the opportunity to develop hands on skills based on state standards. AAPS also stands out in the forward thinking and innovative opportunities for our students to earn credit via nontraditional means, such as online classes and community resource classes.
