I get an error message when I go to PowerSchool!Whenever you use a new computer for the first time (and sometimes when you upgrade your software or we update the servers), you will need to re-do your security exceptions. There are really seven servers in our PowerSchool array but we have one 'umbrella' certificate that covers all the servers. Safari and Firefox notice this and figure they should warn you that there is a bit of a mismatch. Luckily, there are overrides you can do to get rid of the error messages and let the browsers know it's OK to proceed to the PowerSchool sites. For Safari, you usually get a dialog that gives you the option to trust the certificate. You want to do that. If there is no dialog box or window with that option, look for an icon that looks like a lock somewhere up in the header area of the page. If you click that, you get the option to say that you want to trust the certificate. My graphics don't load!
If everything behaves except the logos and graphics, ctrl-click (i.e. hold down the control key and click) on one of the little empty boxes that appear in the extreme corners of the page and select 'View Image' from the contextual menu that pops up. |
