Finding Elementary Students Without an Assigned Teacher

Since all students have a schedule in PowerSchool, we can use some special search terms to find students who do not yet have an AM/PM class.

There are two periods-1=AM and 2=PM

In the Student Search slot, enter:
*not_enrolled_in_period=1 -- This would show all kids without an AM class. *not_enrolled_in_period=2 -- This would show all kids without an PM class.

If you want to look at a particular grade level, you can combine two searches with a semicolon:
*not_enrolled_in_period=1;grade_level=1

Remember that PowerSchool says kindergarten is grade 0 when you do searches.
